Been A While

Yeah, its been a while. Been so much happen in the last six plus months. The job change. The trip to Disney World. The improvement in dealing with Jacqueline's mom. The passing of Jacqueline's Pepe. My oh my. With all of that comes excitement and challenges. I never want to have to tell a child that their grandparent has died again. But all of the things that have happened, have been somewhat superficial. They don't meet the core struggle that goes on inside of us.

Lately, I've been dealing with the struggle inside. Trying to make the changes that I know have to happen. They don't change how I work day in and day out. Its the little things like cleaning up one's speech. It seems like a trivial task, but it shows up at the strangest times. I'm working on it. Trying to get there and please my creator. Its definitely not easy. Its the little struggles that occur when I'm home by myself that I feel indicate success and failure in the pursuit. I know at times I will fail, but there are also those times when I can smile and know that its getting better.
